Casanova. \nAbout the SpeakersAlice Jovanna Casanova Ocasio\, Ph.D.Director of Digital Learning at Albizu University \nRead More\nAlice Jovanna Casanova holds a PhD in Philosophy of Education with a specialty in Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Teaching. In addition to a Certificate in Higher Education from Harvard University and a Certificate as a Specialist in University Teaching and Didactics with a focus on Competencies from the International Center for Interdisciplinary Studies (CIESI\, Peru).  As part of her area of specialization in research\, she develops topics on the competencies and role of the teacher\, Distance Education\, its various modalities and processes.  \nFor the past twenty (20) years\, Dr. Casanova has worked in the Higher Education sector from various scenarios. He has directed academic processes in the creation and transformation of academic offerings to the virtual modality\, the competency-based curriculum\, as well as with academic and institutional assessment plans.  She worked for more than 8 years in regional and specialized accreditation processes such as: Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)\, Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)\, among others.  For the past 15 years she has been a professor at the undergraduate and graduate levels\, teaching courses on research methodologies\, innovation and distance education.  She is an adjunct professor and dissertation mentor.    \nCurrently\, she serves as the director of the Digital Learning Unit at Albizu University and directs the Albizu Digital Learning Infrastructure and IT Modernization Pilot Project\, one of four FIFSE Grants approved nationwide.  He serves on Advisory Boards for the Board of Postsecondary Institutions of Puerto Rico\, is a Peer Reviewer for the Online Learning Journal of the Online Learning Consortium\, a member of the International Network of Researchers in Distance\, Online and Open Education (REDIC) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Internet Society Puerto Rico Chapter.    \nSamuel de JesusGerente Regional Senior de Ventas – LATAM\, IntelliBoard \nRead More\ncoming soon
