Derk Riechers is a doctoral candidate at Brenau University and has worked in higher education administration for the last 15 years. He currently serves as the Director of the Online College at Northeastern Technical College located in Cheraw, SC. Mr. Riechers is known for his publications and conference presentations on Academic Affairs, Online Learning, and Mindfulness. Along with his professional duties, he volunteers his time by serving on the Board of the Instructional Technology Council (ITC). He is also an Executive Board Member of the Global Online Learning Development and Extended Network (GOLDEN).
